Gorge Walking

Gorge Walking (also known as Ghyll Scrambling) essentially involves ascending or descending steep sided mountain rivers and streams. The Centre has all the essential equipment: wet suits, buoyancy aids, harnesses, helmets, etc.

Some ghylls involve complete immersion and tend to be summer only, others are drier or even completely dry river beds and more suitable for colder temperatures!

This is an ideal day out for an energetic group which is looking for an adventure with a difference.
